Registering with UNMIL is the first step to be considered for participating in tendering exercises in an easy and systematic way.
To be considered for registration in our vendor database, it is imperative that potential suppliers provide the correct information. In order to fulfill registration requirements, it is necessary to complete the following documentation:
- The Vendor Roster Application Form;
- Registration certificate;
- Company Profile;
- The Company’s most recent Financial statement/ balance sheet.
- Three Letters of Reference from (or a list of) three independent, non-affiliated clients/companies whom you have sold your product and/or service during the last year
If your company has already been registered with the United Nations Procurement Division in New York, UNMIL does not require these documents.
The documentation can be sent either by e-mail to procurement-unmil@un.org, by fax at fax number +1-917-367-5879, or by mail at UNMIL Procurement Section – Vendor Registration, Green Building, 1st Floor, Tubman Boulevard & 3rd St., Sinkor, Monrovia.
Please note that submitting a completed application to UNMIL does not mean that you will be automatically included in the Database. Registration will depend on the result of the application evaluation. To allow prompt evaluation of your application please ensure that all required documentation is included in your application submission. In addition to the registration with UNMIL, please note that vendors registered on the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) are accessible to all UN missions and agencies seeking vendors in particular geographical areas. Please visit www.ungm.org to obtain information on the on-line registration.
Zero Tolerance for Gifts/Hospitality
The UN has a "zero tolerance" policy and does not accept any type of gift or any offer of hospitality. The UN expects UN Suppliers not to offer any gift or any offer of hospitality. All items received from vendors, even of nominal value, will be returned to the vendor or donated to charity.
